The Challenge
Zone Labs was founded in 1995 by Dr. Barry Sears to develop dietary products based on his #1 New York Times bestselling Zone® book to control diet-induced inflammation for a lifetime. Labmovers.com first worked with Zone Labs in 2015 on a lab relocation. Earlier this year, we received a call from them earlier this year about a possible relocation.
Like many companies today, Zone Labs was adjusting to a more remote workforce. That meant downsizing their physical footprint and streamlining their operations by moving into a smaller space nearby. Their new location, 100 Corporate Place in Peabody, was within the same business park. It still required careful planning, coordination, and execution to minimize the impact on day-to-day operations.
The Solution
Labmovers.com managed a full office relocation, including the relocation of internal IT infrastructure, including on-site servers, along with office furniture, workstations, and employee equipment.
The move involved approximately 10 offices’ worth of contents, including dual-monitor setups for staff—roughly 20 monitors total. With clear planning and efficient execution, the Labmovers.com team completed a same-day load and delivery, minimizing downtime for the client.
In addition to the primary move, Labmovers.com coordinated a follow-up visit to remove surplus and outdated furniture. Items no longer needed—some in use for nearly two decades—were responsibly cleared to help Zone Labs start fresh in their new space.
The Result
Zone Labs successfully consolidated its operations into a leaner, more efficient workspace—without disruption, delays, or unnecessary complexity. The project reflects a growing trend among lab and office environments: smarter use of space, reduced overhead, and infrastructure aligned with modern, cloud-based workflows.
